Great teaching but disappointing campus life and value

Likes

  • Excellent cleanliness across campus
  • Most lab equipment available and maintained
  • Strong, engaging teaching by qualified faculty
  • Curriculum updated regularly

Dislikes

  • Classrooms need major improvement
  • Dull campus activities and strict hosteller restrictions
  • No UPI payments and frequent ATM issues
  • Fees increased without visible facility upgrades
  • Class Size :
  • Course Fees : INR per year

College Internship Opportunities :

Placements are not great overall, but average students do get placed. The placements team (CIR) runs weekly training sessions and is working hard. Current placement percentage is above 50%. This year the highest package is 52 LPA (an AI student) and the average for our course is 6.5 LPA.

Course Information :

I'm currently in B.Tech ECE 3rd year. The teaching quality is top-notch — many professors are at least M.Tech level and they teach in unique, interesting ways. The curriculum is updated every semester, and sometimes even mid-semester, so we stay current by the time we graduate.

Fee Structure :

When I joined the course fee was 3.5 L per year; this year it's about 4.5 L per year. I felt the fee I paid earlier was worth it, but with the new higher fee and no real upgrade in facilities, it feels less justified.

Faculty :

Faculties are very capable and teach creatively. Their level is comparable to M.Tech graduates, which makes the learning strong and engaging.

Campus Details :

Most necessary lab equipment is available and well maintained, though a few items aren't of standard quality. Classrooms need improvement — sometimes school classrooms are better. On cleanliness, the college excels.
