UGC NET 2026 Important Dates: Application Deadline Extended, Correction Window, Admit Card & Exam Schedule

NTA has extended the UGC NET June session application last date to May 23, 2026. Correction window runs May 25-27. City slip by June 10, admit card by June 15, CBT exam from June 22-30.

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the UGC NET June 2026 application last date to May 23, 2026 , as listed in the UGC NET 2026 Important Dates. The fee payment deadline has also been moved to May 23, 2026 .

    The authority released the UGC NET notification on 29 April 2026 . The exam will be held as a Computer Based Test (CBT) across 85 subjects from 22 June to 30 June 2026 .

    UGC NET 2026 Important Dates: What applicants must do now

    If you plan to apply, register and complete the form at ugcnet.nta.ac.in before 23 May 2026 . Upload the required scanned images and pay the application fee via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI before the deadline.

    The application correction window opens 25 May and closes 27 May 2026 . Use this window only to fix mistakes; major changes may not be allowed after submission.

    The NTA will publish exam city slips by 10 June 2026 and issue admit cards by 15 June 2026 . Check the details on your city slip and admit card as soon as they are available to avoid last-minute problems.

    The UGC NET June session will be conducted online in CBT mode across multiple days from 22 to 30 June 2026 . The exam covers 85 subjects; confirm your subject and paper details on the official site.
