    IIT Bombay released the UCEED 2026 Round 2 seat allotment and cutoffs on May 19, 2026 . The Round 2 list covers seven institutes and a total of 245 BDes seats for 2026–27.

    Round 2 covers IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates must log into the BDes portal on the official UCEED website to view their allotment and confirm seats.

    UCEED 2026 Round 2 cutoffs — key closing ranks

    Several institute-level closing ranks were highlighted in the release. Notable Open-category closing ranks include IIT Bombay: 14 , IIT Delhi: 28 , IIT Hyderabad: 40 , and IIITDM Jabalpur: 145 . PwD closing ranks are listed under each category in the published tables.

    IIT Bombay remains the most competitive in Round 2 based on Open-category closing rank. Cutoffs vary by institute and reserved category according to seat availability.

    What you must do now

    If you have been allotted a seat, log into the BDes portal immediately to confirm acceptance. You must choose between FREEZE (retain) or FLOAT (seek higher preference) and pay the seat acceptance fee by May 27, 2026, 6:00 PM to secure the allotment.

    Payment is required to download the provisional seat allotment letter from your portal after successful transaction. The exact acceptance fee amount and payment instructions were not specified in the Round 2 notice; follow the BDes portal prompts and official UCEED instructions.

    IIT Bombay has issued a fraud warning: do not respond to calls or messages from third parties asking for payments or personal details. Official updates and counselling instructions will be posted only on the UCEED website (uceed.iitb.ac.in). Email queries about seat status will not be entertained during counselling.

    Students should keep scanned copies of identity and qualifying documents ready for institute-level admission formalities after downloading the provisional letter.
