How to check UCEED 2026 Round 2 seat allotment
Log in to the official UCEED admission portal at www.uceed.iitb.ac.in using your registered email and password. Select the “Seat Allotment Round 2” option and download the seat allotment letter after viewing your allotted institute.
Downloading the allotment letter is mandatory for further admission steps. Keep a printed copy and an electronic receipt for records.
Pay seat acceptance fee for UCEED 2026 Round 2 seat allotment
The seat acceptance fee payment window opens on May 19 and closes on May 27, 2026 at 6 PM . Payment must be made in full; partial payments will not be accepted .
Fee amounts are: Rs. 60,000 for GEN / EWS / OBC-NCL and Rs. 15,000 for SC / ST / PwD. Failure to pay the full acceptance fee by 6 PM on May 27 will lead to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat and disqualification from admission.
Freeze, Float and next steps after payment
On the portal you must choose between the Freeze and Float options. Selecting Freeze secures your current allotted institute and removes you from upgrade consideration in later rounds. Selecting Float confirms the seat for now but keeps you eligible for higher-preference upgrades in subsequent rounds.
Only candidates who complete the payment and select an option within the deadline will be considered for future rounds. IIT Bombay will organise five rounds of seat allocation for UCEED 2026.
Withdrawal window and Round 3 schedule
Candidates who wish to withdraw or exit the process can do so during the May 28 to June 9, 2026 window. The Round 3 seat allotment is scheduled for June 10, 2026 and will consider only those who met the earlier deadlines and procedures.
