KS DAT 2026 registrations started on the Kerala LBS portal lbsapplications.kerala.gov.in/ksdat2026 on May 5, 2026 , the LBS Centre for Science and Technology has announced. The last date to submit the application is June 5, 2026 .
The Kerala State Design Aptitude Test (KS DAT 2026) grants admission to B.Des programmes in participating institutes across Kerala. Candidates should complete the online form and upload required documents before the deadline to be considered for the admission process.
How to apply for KS DAT 2026
Visit the Kerala LBS portal and choose "New Registration" for KS DAT 2026. Fill in personal and academic details, upload documents and make the payment using credit card, debit card or net banking .
The application confirmation page must be downloaded and printed for future reference. Payment options are online only; keep your transaction receipt until admission formalities are complete.
Eligibility and documents for KS DAT 2026
Candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from HSE Kerala or a board recognised by KTU, following AICTE norms. Minimum marks required are 45% aggregate for general category and 40% for reserved categories .
Required documents include:
- SSLC book or other record for date of birth proof
- Nativity certificate or equivalent proof
- Qualifying exam marksheet or hall ticket
- Community certificate (if applicable)
- Non-creamy layer/income certificate (if applicable)
- Inter-caste certificate in the prescribed format (if applicable)
- PwD certificate issued by a medical board (if applicable)
- Medical officer fitness certificate for B.Des enrollment
- EWS certificate issued by the village officer (if applicable)
Fees, certificate validity and key dates
Application fee for KS DAT 2026 is Rs 1,300 for general category candidates and Rs 650 for SC/ST candidates. Non-creamy layer and income certificates are valid for one year with reference to the application closing date. Community certificates remain valid for three years .
Students should note the application deadline: June 5, 2026 . Missing the date will make you ineligible for KS DAT 2026 registration this year.
