When will the NID B.Des final result 2026 be published?
NID has not given an exact declaration date but the final outcome is expected shortly after the DAT Mains. The Mains comprised the Studio Sensitivity Test on April 19, 2026 and the In-Person Sensitivity Test on April 26, 2026 .
How the NID B.Des final result 2026 is prepared
The final merit list is based on DAT Mains scores only; the DAT Prelims served only for shortlisting. Weightage in DAT Mains is Studio Sensitivity Test 60% and In-Person Sensitivity Test 40% . Results will be published as a category-wise merit list (Open, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD).
Tie cases are resolved by: higher Studio Test marks, then higher marks in Studio Test Question 3, then Question 1, and if still tied, the same rank is allotted.
